KADO: waiting in mobile devices of major manufacturers
Kado is a global innovator of thin power conversion technologies
Overview
KADO was established in 2016, by Daniel Assis, Itay Hasid, and a group of private entrepreneurs aiming to give users the freedom to get power anywhere.
KADO is headquartered in Israel and is privately funded. The company recently won the “Top Tech” award for best accessory by Digital Trends at MWC Barcelona 2017 and was voted among 100 leading Startups in Europe by Red Herring.
The founders are serial entrepreneurs who previously created Mobeego (www.mobeego.com), a device that offered consumers one-time, disposable charging. Following Mobeego’s success, it was acquired by US based Life Clips.
Kado creates ultra-thin, extra portable chargers that set a new standard in the field of charging. Flatter, smaller and smarter chargers enable important size and weight reduction and bring new engineering and design possibilities.
Kado launched a Kickstarter campaign in June 2017, and already have 88,697 pledged of $25,000 goal, by 1,642 backers.
Kado's proprietary technology is applicable in a wide range of industries such as medical devices, smart housing, smart lighting, mobile devices and more.
Kado currently offers 2 user-centric products:
1. At just 5mm thick, KADO Wallet offers easy and convenient charging for smartphones, tablets, smart watches, headphones, and speakers with its Lightning®, Micro-USB, and USB-C compatibility. Kado Wallet is the thinnest wall charger in the world. It's the size of a credit card and fits in almost any wallet or purse.
2. For laptops, Kado developed Kado Sleeve, the world's first fold able charger. It supplies up to 75W and has 2 USB ports for simultaneously charging 2 devices.
