Squire is a free mobile app and web marketplace that allows customers to find masters according to specified criteria, book and prepay for a haircut at a barbershop in only three taps.   • Squire is a free iOS app and web marketplace that allow customers to book and pay for a haircut at a barbershop in only three taps. Squire not only helps find a local barbershop based on one’s location, but also lets the customer choose a time and pay for both the haircut and a tip with a credit card or Apple Pay prior to arriving for the appointment.
  • The marketplace solves both customer problems (hard to find a great barber; cash only; long wait times) and barber problems: POS require expensive hardware, high credit card processing fees, hard to reach new customers.
  • The product also includes a Backend management system and hardware for barbershops – this cloud based system enables barbers to run their business from any device. Barbers can now track schedules more effectively, ensure that they receive payment up front and even manage inventory. Key benefits for barbers: new customers, 24/7 booking, decrease in cancellations, increased client retention with built in loyalty program.
